Anaar Urban Fashion was established in 2016 in Dubai as Khordad Designs. The designs were initially sold through Alangoo.com. The brand was expanded and renamed to Anaar Urban Fashion in 2019.

Anaar (æn·ar) means pomegranate in Farsi. The pomegranate tree is native from Iran to the Himalayas and has been cultivated since ancient times. It is considered a prominent symbol of Persian culture.

Every piece we design has a story behind it. They are inspired by the historical region influenced by Persian culture; encompassing many countries and languages.
